The surgeries in CSGPN have used the Pen Clinical Audit tool prior to accreditation to effectively identify active patients who do not have allergies recorded, which is something Medical Director search could not identify. Similarly, patients eligible for 45-49 year old health checks, with high blood pressure or BMI were easily identified without having to open the patient files, again this search cannot be conducted from Medical Director alone.
